A 2017 study published in the journal Frontier Psychology sought to test whether CBT or EMDR therapy was found to be more effective for panic disorder. Eighty-four patients with panic disorder were randomly assigned 13 weekly 60-minute CBT or EMDR therapy. Results from the study showed that both forms were equally effective – you can’t go wrong with either one.
