What is Treatment?

Drug and alcohol addiction treatment was created to help addicted individuals stop compulsive drug and alcohol use. Treatment can occur in a variety of settings including hospital-based settings, inpatient residential homes, and outpatient centers. Treatment modalities and lengths of stay can vary greatly, depending on the specific needs of the individual.

Addiction is a disease in which is often chronic, characterized by relapse, and other consequences. Thus, treatment is not a “cure” to addiction. At Simple Recovery, we believe that recovery is a life-long process that involves multiple interventions, continuing care, and ongoing support through recovery communities such as 12-Step, and the like.

Simple Recovery utilizes a comprehensive approach to treat the multifaceted disease of addiction and meet the needs of our clients as individuals. Our addiction treatment integrates the best evidence-based practices, including behavioral therapy (such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, experiential therapy, and contingency management), community support, and psychiatric services to treat the mind, body and spirit of each individual that walks through our doors.
